On Friday, May 31st Mr. Marvin and Napoleon Middle School National Honors Society Students hosted field day for Eby Elementary students. The students participated in running events, scooter races, tug-o-war and many other athletic activities. The event took place at the Napoleon High School Athletic Complex.

4th graders at Ezra Eby Elementary shared projects representing the fifty states at the annual 4th Grade State Fair on Friday, May 24 after wrapping up their study of the five regions of the United States. Parents and family members along with staff, and students from other classes visited the fair and listened to the students present their information and show off a variety of projects from mobiles and brochures to posters and commercials. It was a spectacular display of creativity and hard work.

Friday May 10th Eby hosted its annual carnival and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped set up, provided items for the raffle, and those who worked the event. We appreciate families coming out to enjoy an evening of fun with their kiddos! We want to also thank Arctic Sno Cone, Baby Bear Burgers, Ballooney Bin, Callaghan's Coffee, and Tasty Spoon for joining us.
Eby hosted a Relay for Life Walk yesterday. Honorary cancer survivors Kolben Kerr, Owen Foster, and Mrs. Kelly Brown led other survivors around the track along with Eby students. We want to thank Mrs. Denning for organizing the walk and all who helped and participated including Ms. Pence and her high school students. Many thanks to the Napoleon Community for all the monetary donations to the American Cancer Society.
On Thursday May 9th first graders at Eby put on a colorful spring program called Eby Seed School. The students memorized extensive parts and songs along with motions. The performance was delightful!
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our incredible teachers in the district!
We would like to introduce Mrs. Courtney Jensen as one of the new office aides at Eby. She has moved from the library to the front office and we are happy to have her.
Friday was Tyra McLain's last day at Eby but she hasn't gone far. She will now be working in the Napoleon High School office. Thanks Mrs. McLain for your nine years of service at Eby. We will see you around.
Bikers Against Bullies presented a "Buddy Bench" to Ezra Eby Elementary on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The students listened to a positive message about ways to use the bench and loved seeing the motorcycles and hear them roar at the end of the presentation. Eby is grateful to be chosen as a recipient of the bench.
Congratulations Eby Pirates! You earned enough CREW cards to fill the prize tube for a school wide reward. Board Games with Buddies on Friday afternoon was our way of saying we appreciate your positive behavior. We are proud of you for being Cooperative, Respectful, putting forth Effort, and having those Wow moments! Keep up the Great Work! Go Pirates!
Eby's Third Grade Students put on a spectacular show on Thursday, April 25. They celebrated our great state through song and dance. Once again the Michigan Program was a hit!
Eby's Art Show Kickoff Reception was a big hit! Every student at Eby has at least one piece of art on display and there are middle school and high school art pieces in the lobby and library. Make sure to stop by and check it out the next two days. Wednesday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
