The American Cancer Society Fundraiser "KISS THE PIG" was a huge success. Mr. Dillon, Mr. Lawrence, and Mrs. Day were the lucky staff members who "won" with the most money in their jars. The sweet little piglet was a great sport and welcomed all the attention during the End of the Month Assembly at the High School.
Other activities at the assembly included the eating relay and honoring the post season athletics and extra curricular kids. The eating relay was to honor three kids from each grade (and a buddy) for having no absences, no missing assignments, and no behavior issues. The juniors won this competition. The post season kids were verbally recognized for their post season competitions including powerlifting, band, robotics, boys basketball, girls basketball, bowling, and wrestling.
It 's great to celebrate and have fun with our high school students!
