- Varsity Wrestling:
Kody Ebersole has been hired as the program's new Varsity Head Coach. Kody is a Napoleon graduate and since that time has held various roles within the wrestling program. He has assisted with youth wrestling, been a volunteer assistant in the high school, and was a full time high school assistant coach the last couple seasons. Coach Ebersole cares about the sustained success within the program, he understands the tradition that has been built over time, and is excited about the opportunity to be the Head Coach.

“Wrestling has always been a big part of my life and I can’t wait to help these young athletes achieve their goals both on and off the mat. I grew up a part of the Pirate Wrestling Community and I am excited about the opportunity to lead the program.”
- Varsity Girls Soccer:
Alan Berkeypile has been named the program’s new Varsity Head Coach. Alan is a Napoleon graduate and has years of experience coaching soccer, and other youth sports. Most recently he has been an assistant coach for the Michigan Center Boys and Girls Varsity soccer teams. Coach Berkeypile has been around Soccer programs that were built from the ground up, and that is exactly what we will be doing with the Napoleon Soccer program. He is extremely passionate about soccer, and wants to be part of building a successful program as we transition to competing at the Varsity level.

“As a Napoleon alumni and father of two daughters that are proud Pirates, I am looking forward to leading a brand new girls varsity soccer program for Napoleon Community Schools. I am grateful for and will build off the first year foundation laid by Coach Lee and the seniors last season. Keeping with the rich tradition of success on and off the field of Napoleon sports programs, I am excited for the opportunity to build a soccer program that is competitive, fun and provides opportunities that student athletes are proud of and want to be a part of.”
- Varsity Baseball:
Beginning in the Spring of 2024, a familiar face will be working with the Varsity Baseball program. Mike Blanchard, who has been our JV Head Coach, will be moving up to Varsity and will work with current Head Coach Jeff Mohr. Coach Mohr and Coach Blanchard will be working in Co-Head Coach roles where they will share duties and responsibilities running the baseball program. Coach Mohr and Coach Blanchard have worked together in the past, they are invested in Napoleon, and mixing their coaching styles is the best thing for the Baseball program moving forward.
From Coach Mohr: “I look forward to having Michael on board at the varsity level, and I know that he will do an outstanding job.”
