The safety of our students, staff, and community are always priority ONE for us at NHS and all of NCS.
In the morning on Friday, 9/15/23, a high school student reported to administration seeing a TikTok video that was threatening, but NOT to OUR school. A screenshot was shared with administration and NPD and found not to be credible. In fact, it appears it was not in Michigan.
Nevertheless, rumors of some kind of "event" at our school swirled and grew. We wanted to take a moment and let our community know that we take these kinds of reports seriously, we did investigate thoroughly with law enforcement and found no credibility to the post. At no time were Napoleon students or staff in harm's way. At the same time, we commend the student for bringing it forward to make sure.
