S.T.E.M. Club was started last year to provide after school opportunities for students that are an extension of the science curriculum offered during the school day. Student engage in hands on activities that provide real world applications to science principles taught within the science curriculum.  Students have had the chance to build and test marble tracks (roller coasters), egg drops, solar powered cars, and marble drops.  Student also used forensic testing kits, fingerprint labs, and solved CSI adventures.  This year students will have the opportunity to explore Drones, Catapults, Vex robotics, Zip Flyers, popsicle stick shooters, and several other captivating activities.  STEM club run for 8 weeks (Tues/Thurs) in the Fall and 8 weeks in the late Winter/Spring (Tues/Thurs).

What is S.T.E.M.?  

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.  STEM club members will experiment, program, and construct various projects for FUN!

STEM Club is open to all 6th-8th grade students for one hour after school every Tuesday and Thursday in Mr. Eagen’s room (109).
