Please click this link for an important COVID-19 announcement from NCS April 9, 2021.

When Napoleon Community Schools receives confirmation of a positive school-associated case of COVID-19 related to one of our programs and/or buildings any family member or staff members who need to quarantine or take additional action will be notified as quickly as possible. Updated numbers regarding our COVID-19 cases can be found on our COVID-19 Dashboard.

Whenever the district receives notification of a school-related confirmed case of COVID-19 in a NCS student or staff member, we will make every attempt to be as transparent as possible. Due to confidentiality laws and policies we will not generally be able to provide specific information regarding any particular case. However, all protocols will be carefully followed. As with any communicable disease or immediate concern the district will promptly inform staff and families of any COVID-19 positive cases to which they or their student may have been exposed. Students and staff members will be notified if they are identified as a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case and need to stay home and quarantine or take additional health measures. Communication will go out to the specific program or those individuals impacted. If your family is not contacted, that means your child was not identified as a close contact of the person who tested positive. As always if you have any questions or concerns we encourage you to contact your building administrators directly.

Parents and community members are reminded to continue to monitor themselves and their children closely for symptoms of COVID-19 illness, which are fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
