On Thursday, March 22nd the NHS Girls Robotics team won 2nd place at the Robofest competition in Westland, MI. Robofest is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Computer Science. Student work to design, construct, and program the robots to achieve different goals using their creativity and problem solving skills.

The NHS Girls Robotics team, the first Napoleon Robotics Team to compete in a robotics competition, won 2nd place at Robofest. Two other Napoleon Robotic teams will be compete on April 7th at the Cranbook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills at 1:30pm. Exciting things happening for our Robotics teams. The girls team competed against teams with significantly more experience and qualified for the Robotics World Championship held at Lawrence Tech on May 19th.
