Practice, Hard Work, Commitment

NCS proudly shares in the excitement of the Napoleon Golf Teams as they start to use their new indoor golf simulator & practice facility!

Sometime last summer the vision of an indoor golf facility was proposed and the Pirate Golf Coaches along side their teams, families and community got to work planning, fundraising and making it happen. Profits from a bowling tournament and several other fundraisers combined with generous donations from the Napoleon Community Benefit Fund, Napoleon Athletic Boosters, Kelly Fuels & many other amazing local businesses were key in making this vision a reality. Our Pirate Golf Teams couldn’t be more excited or appreciative.

The new golf barn has everything our golfers and their coaches envisioned with lockers, equipment storage, indoor practice areas and a state of the art indoor golf simulator. Instead of anxiously awaiting golf season, sunny days and clear weather our Pirate Golf Team members have the ability to polish their skills year round in the new facility.

Coach Shawn Murphy said, “Community support was always key in reaching our goal. We appreciate everyone who has donated and helped. I’m not surprised Pirate supporters stepped up.”

Special thanks to Greg Davis, Curt Hanselman, Ken Smith, Kentwood Furniture, Kelly Fuels, RW Mercer, Hirst Electric, KSS Enterprises, Napoleon Athletic Boosters and the Napoleon Community Benefit Fund. If we’ve missed anyone we sincerely apologize as each and every contribution was greatly appreciated. This facility will be utilized by NCS Pirates for years to come with great enthusiasm, thank you all!
