Napoleon High School earned an overall Michigan School Index Score of 94.02, by far the highest in Jackson County for public high schools with the overall average for county high schools being 70.83 (excluding alternative schools).  Congratulations to staff and students on this incredible milestone and accomplishment.

The Michigan School Index System measures public school performance in six key areas; student growth (34%), student proficiency (29%), school quality/student success (14%), graduation rate (10%), English Learner progress (10%), and assessment participation (10%).

Schools receive credit in each area based on the degree to which it meets its targets and an overall index value ranging from 0-100. The Michigan School Index System is used to identify schools for support.
